Ognuno ci consideri come ministri di Cristo e amministratori dei misteri di Dio. 
Ora, quanto si richiede negli amministratori è che ognuno risulti fedele. 
A me però, poco importa di venir giudicato da voi o da un consesso umano; anzi, io neppure giudico me stesso, 
perché anche se non sono consapevole di colpa alcuna non per questo sono giustificato. Il mio giudice è il Signore! 
Non vogliate perciò giudicare nulla prima del tempo, finché venga il Signore. Egli metterà in luce i segreti delle tenebre e manifesterà le intenzioni dei cuori; allora ciascuno avrà la sua lode da Dio.

Il faut donc que l'on nous regarde seulement comme les serviteurs et les intendants des mystères. 
Et ce que l'on demande aux intendants, c'est en somme de mériter confiance. 
Pour ma part, je me soucie fort peu de votre jugement sur moi, ou de celui que prononceraient les hommes ; d'ailleurs, je ne me juge même pas moi-même. 
Ma conscience ne me reproche rien, mais ce n'est pas pour cela que je suis juste : celui qui me juge, c'est le Seigneur. 
Alors, ne portez pas de jugement prématuré, mais attendez Sa venue, car IL mettra en lumière ce qui est caché dans les ténèbres, et IL fera paraître les intentions secrètes. Alors, la louange qui revient à chacun lui sera donnée.

Thus should one regard us: as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 
Now it is of course required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. 
It does not concern me in the least that I be judged by you or any human tribunal; I do not even pass judgment on myself. 
I am not conscious of anything against me, but I do not thereby stand acquitted; the one who judges me is the Lord. 
Therefore, do not make any judgment before the appointed time, until the Lord comes, for he will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will manifest the motives of our hearts, and then everyone will receive praise from God.
