Kylie has revealed that the shock of finding out she had cancer
still hasn't fully sunk in.

In the exclusive interview, the Aussie pop princess
talks in detail about how she took the news and the "rippling" effect it has
had ever since.
She said: "It's still sinking in. It's really hard for me to express how I
felt or even the chain of events.
"It's such a personal journey, even though you need the people all around
you..."
Kylie describes how confused she felt, not knowing if she wanted to be alone
or surrounded by her family.
"I would just quietly go to my bedroom and just have 20 minutes to myself
and try and deal with everything. I really felt bad for everyone around me.
I'm like, 'Oh, my God. My poor parents,'... you know.
"The family's totally... it's like a bomb's dropped."
The 38-year-old, who was told she had breast cancer in May 2005, is still
coming to terms with her traumatic experience, the ongoing effects of which
she describes as "ripples and ripples".
But in the wake of her recovery, Kylie is proud to be able to say she made
it through, and wants other cancer victims to know they can too.
"I know there'll be people who will see this, be watching this now, going
through, as we speak, there'll be X amount of women being diagnosed.
"I love to say, you can get through it. You can."
